Robert E. Kline, 96, of State College, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Mount Nittany Medical Centre.

Born February 16, 1921 in Alliance, Ohio he was the son of the late Russell and Edith (Smith) Kline. On January 4, 1943 he married Anna Kustenborder who preceded him in death on July 26, 2012.

Robert served our country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He loved working on antique cars and going to auctions with his brothers.

He is survived by two daughters, Dianne Kline of State College and Mary Neiman of Dover, DE; two sisters, Edith Bilger and Alice Kline; two grandsons, Cmdr (USCGR) Richard E. Neiman, Jr. of Washington, DC; MSgt (Ret) Brian Neiman and wife Karen of Dover, DE; five great grandchildren, Matthew, Okesa, Diana, Randi, and Ashley; three great great - grandchildren, Dory, Elizabeth, and Isabel.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Harry Kline; son-in-law, Dr. Richard E. Neiman; two brothers, Calvin and Carl Kline; one sister, Margaret Stewart; and brother-in-law, Charles Bilger.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Bellefonte congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, Myrtle St., Bellefonte, PA 16823.
