Robert A. Rhoads, age 76, of Julian, died February 13, 2023. Born in Bellefonte, September 2, 1946. He was the son of George F. and Helen L. (Poorman) Rhoads. Bob was predeceased by his partner Sharon M. Mellott in 2017.

Bob served in the National Guard in the 1960's. He retired from The Pennsylvania State University where he worked as a Stock Delivery Clerk for many years.

Bob was a member of the Bellefonte American Legion and The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 33. An avid Fisherman and Penn State Football fan.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Lisa Lose and son, John Rhoads both of Mingoville.  He also had several grandchildren. Four Sisters Barbara Naugle and her husband Howard of Sarver, Pa. Debra Wegener and her husband Randy of Milesburg, Pa. Peggy Kline of San Antonio, Tx. And Rebecca Ishler and her husband Donald of Pleasant Gap, Pa. Three brothers David Rhoads and Philip Rhoads of Bellefonte, Pa. And Barry Rhoads and his wife Jo Beth of Overland Park Ks. He was preceded in death by his partner Sharon M. Mellott, His daughter Vonda Rhoads. His sisters Carol Moore and Judy Rhoads. His brothers Clair and James.

Friends will be received from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike State College, Pa. 16801 with a funeral service to immediately follow. Internment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park, State College, Pa.
