Obituary
Robie M. Willhide, 94, of Carlisle, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle.
Ms. Willhide was born May 6, 1921 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Seager Clay and Florence Dunkleberger Willhide.
Following her high school graduation, she enrolled in the Carlisle Commercial Business School, earning a degree in Bookkeeping. She was employed for many years by Federal Equipment Company and retired from Byers Lumber Company.
Robie is survived by her sister, Donna L. McKain, and her husband John Bushey of Carlisle, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dean, Banks and Lane Willhide.
A special thanks to the staff at Chapel Pointe for their compassionate care of Ms. Willhide.
Following her wishes, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Westminster Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Chapel Pointe Benevolent Fund 770 S. Hanover St. Carlisle, PA 17013.
