Robin Renee Smith (Dreese) 60, of Pennsylvania Furnace, passed away on November 21, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.
Robin was born in Bellefonte, PA on June 15, 1956. She graduated from State College Area High School and Centre County Vo- Tech in 1974. She studied for and obtained her Beautician Managers License.
Robin was married to David on April 30, 1988; they were married 28 years.
Robin worked in food service for the State College Area School District for 17 years. Robin also styled hair at Alice and Dons in State College. She enjoyed camping, yard sales, slot machines, and Christmas.
Robin is survived by her husband Dave, her children Heather Knarr (Matt), and Ethan, Her Brother Paul Dreese of England, her Mother Jean Dreese of State College, her aunt Darlene Ripka of State College, her Aunt Phyllis Hertzog of State College and many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Robin was preceded in death by her father George Dreese, her sister Donna Weber (Dave), Her Uncle Bob Ripka (Sally), Her Uncle Ken Hertzog (Phyllis), and her brother Terry Dreese.
Friends and family will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 300 E. College Ave. State College, PA, with pastor Ann Graves officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Pine Hall Cemetery.
