Obituary

Ronald R. Faulkner, 62, of Englewood, Ohio; passed away on Friday, November 11, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Ron was born in Knoxville, TN on August 10, 1943 to the late Claude and Florence Faulkner. He was 1961 graduate of West High School in Knoxville, served in the U. S. Navy as a Weather Observer from July 28, 1961 to July 24, 1964 and later graduated form Monmouth College in 1977 with a B. S. in Accounting. Ron worked as an accountant and comptroller in private industry prior to 1983, when he began his career with the Department of Defense. He retired from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Dayton, Ohio in March of 2003. His greatest joys included spending time with his family and friends, camping, fishing and raising and playing with his beloved Labrador Retrievers. His playful sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 17 years, Anegla Faulkner, sons Brian Faulkner of Merritt Island, FL, Sean Sowash of Oklahoma City, OK, Kyle Sowash of Columbus, OH; daughter, Cynthia Faulkner of Cocoa, FL, brother and sister in law, J. T. and Carolyn Faulkner, sisters and brothers in law, Opal and Harold Webb, Shirley and J. D. Flatt all of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Lane and Claude Faulkner Jr., sisters, Willie Davis, Betty Sprouse and Hazel Fritts.
Friends will be received from noon until 1:00 p. m. Monday, November 21, 2005, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p. m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. George W. Burn, officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA. Contributions in Ron's memory may be made to the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization (429 N. Pennsylvania St., Suite 201 Indianapolis, IN 46204.
