Mr. Ronald B. Kessinger, 77, of Tyrone, passed away at home on April 16, 2025. He was born in Bellefonte to J. Finley and Virginia (Auman) Kessinger. Mr. Kessinger was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He served "in country" from June 1967 to June 1968. Later, he worked at Corning Glass works until he attended, graduated and retired from Penn State University in the Eberly College of Science in 2005.

He approached life in a positive manner and lived each day to the fullest. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sue Kessinger of State College, PA; two daughters, Becky Kessinger, wife Amy and sons William and Alec of Cave Creek, AZ and Virginia Kessinger of State College, PA; one sister, Virginia K. Lucas of Bellefonte, PA and the last member of the "hunting party" and friend of over 50 years, William L. Roberts of Bellingham, MA.

Per the family's request services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ronald's honor to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
