Ruben James Evans, 40, of Clearfield, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at his residence in Clearfield.

He was born February 26, 1977 at Kenneth City Florida, a son of Ruth Ann King Evans Fultz of Bellefonte, and the late Arthur Whitney Evans.

Early in life he enjoyed skateboarding, and the creative side of Ruben enjoyed listening to music and writing.

In addition to his mother, Ruben is survived by his step father James L. Fultz of Bellefonte, his step mother Maryanne Speed Evans of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister, Amber DeCosmo (Jimmy) of Bellefonte; brother Cyrus Evans of Boalsburg; half sister Bayde Evans of Fernandina Beach, FL, half brother Clinton Evans of Fernandina Beach, FL; step sister Nichole Luckovich of Lewistown; step brother Michael Fultz (Amy) of McVeytown; his step grandmother Claudie Speed of Fernandina Beach, FL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., Bellefonte, PA; with Pastor Chris Passante officiating. Friends will be received at the church immediately following the services. Ruben's ashes will be scattered at the convenience of the family.
