Russell E. Walker, 90 of Boalsburg, PA, passed away October 14, 2022. Born August 22, 1932 in Buffalo Run Valley to the late George Thomas "Tom" and Elsie (Shaeffer) Walker; he was one of nine children.

Russell served for 2 years in the United States Navy on the US Soley #707. He farmed on Branch Road and received his Real Estate license. He also worked as a glazier for 25 years at Glass Incorporated before retiring. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed camping with his family.

Russell married Shirley Confer and their union was blessed with 3 daughters. They built their first home on Branch Road. They later retired in Boalsburg and refurbished Shirley's father's homestead. He and Shirley were lifetime attendees of the Grange Fair and Russell always enjoyed attending any functions associated with Shirley's graduating class of 1955.

Along with his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred, Charles, Ida, Ray, Adeline, Jim, Mary and his twin, Edna Louise. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Walker; daughters, Kimberly Walker, Diane Kurtz (Gene) and Donna Dean (Gary); 4 grandchildren, Shawn Kurtz, Samantha Roan and Helena and Rebecca Dean; 5 great-grandchildren, Casen, Grady and Hagan Roan and Kolten and Skylinn Kurtz and 1 sister, Florence Strouse.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 11:00AM - 12:00PM with funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00PM at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Interment will be private.
