Ruth M. Struble, 90, of State College, died Friday September 29, 2006 at Centre Crest.
Born on February 20, 1916, Ruth was a daughter of the late Kearney and Anna Stover Walker.
On February 20, 1934 she married Glenn Struble who died in May 1981.
Ruth was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching. She was a member of the Houserville United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending the local Christian Women's Club.
Surviving are her two daughters, Sally Ripka of State College and Judith Struble Smith of Indiana, PA; her sons, William of Boalsburg and Elwood, Kenneth, James, and Gerald all of State College; a sister Patsy Schillings of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother Jerry Walker of Lawnsdale, California; and 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Edwin; three brothers, Robert, Paul, and Samuel Walker; and a sister, Carrie Houtz.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park.
