Obituary

Samuel C. Ranck III, formerly of Milton, died unexpectedly at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown, South Carolina, on Sunday, November 23, 2003.
He was born November 21, 1961, in Milton, a son of Samuel and Sylvia Ranck.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Cynthia Person, of Williamsport, a brother, Thomas Ranck, of Jacksonville, Florida, and a nephew, Samuel John Person, of Williamsport.
He graduated from Milton High School in 1979. Always interested in sports, he excelled in baseball and golf in high school and later was an outstanding player with the Milton American Legion baseball team.
He was employed for a number of years by is uncle at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service and later was associated with his mother in the operation of All Season Flower Shop in Milton and Danville. For the past five years he resided at Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Milton, 316 Golf Course Road, Milton, Pennsylvania on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 11 o'clock a. m., with the Rev. James R. Dries officiating There will be no visitation. The family will provide flowers. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Milton, 316 Golf Course Road, Milton, PA 17847.
