Sarah (Sally) West Adams was born on July 25, 1937. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 1, 2026, at the age of 89, following a prolonged battle with dementia. 

Sally was a dedicated mother, a loving wife, and a good friend to many. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. 

Sally is survived by her two younger siblings, Carolyn Frontz and Kennard West; her husband, William (Bill) Adams; her daughter, Beth Tindal; her son, Thomas Adams; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, William (Mark) Adams, and her parents, Dorothy and Kennard West. 

Sally graduated with distinction from Penn State with a degree in Liberal Arts and English. She enjoyed reading literature and poetry and passed her love of books on to her children and grandchildren. Sally was also a longtime volunteer at Schlow Memorial Library and an avid gardener. She loved animals, music, and the ocean. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the caregivers who enabled Sally to remain at home during her difficult final years.
