Obituary

Sharon Lee Williams Watson, 48, of Boalsburg, went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 27, 2006, at her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Sharon was born on May 29, 1957, in Clearfield. She was a daughter of Richard M. and Betty J. (Schnars) Williams who survive in Lemont. On June 26, 1982, at the Houserville United Methodist church she married Gary T. Watson who survives at home.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sharon is survived by her children, Ryan T. and Brittany L., at home. She is also survived by two sisters: Debbie Adams and her husband, Craig, of Camp Hill, and their children, Jaime and Kayla, and Kari Corbett of State College, and her children, William and Colin. Sharon is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mrs. Rae (Spearly) Watson of Milesburg, and by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was a 1975 graduate of State College Area Senior High School. While in high school, she was a member of the State College Marching Band and the State High Concert Band. In 1986, she graduated with an Associate Degree from the Centre Business School.
Sharon's work career included the following companies: Murata Erie; Schwan Technology; Penn State; Wal-Mart and Weis Market as a Pharmacy Technician.
Sharon was previously a member of the Houserville United Methodist Church where she sang in the Church Choir, and was a member of the Houserville 4-H Club. She had also been a member of Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, and most recently, a member of the Fairbrook United Methodist Church. She especially enjoyed crocheting, crafts, gardening, photography and stationery decorating.
Throughout her illness Sharon maintained a determination to live her life as happily and normally as possible. Her strength and spirit were remarkable. All who knew Sharon will always remember her kind and caring nature. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 7 - 9 p. m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA, and from 10 -11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Mount Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College, PA. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Mt. Nittany Church with the Reverend Gene W. McCallips officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at the Boalsburg Cemetery.
