Obituary

Shirley Wyles Amick, 73, of State College, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township.
Born on February 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel Ritchey Wyles.
On March 8, 1958, she was married to Dean D. Amick Sr., who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dean D. Amick Jr. of Bethlehem; a daughter, Julene A. Yearick and her husband David of State College; one grandson, David A. Yearick Jr. of Elizabethville; two sisters, Dorothy Fluke of New Berlin and Bonitta Landerman of Baltimore, Maryland.
She was the owner/operator of the Credit Bureau/Reports and Collections for over 20 years.
She loved antiquing, antiques, and genealogy. She was a member of the Pioneer Historical Society of Bedford County.
She was of the Protestant Faith.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services P.C., 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Memorial Services will follow at 11 AM with the Reverend Alex Dyakew officiating. Internment will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pioneer Historical Society of Bedford County, Inc., 242 East John Street, Bedford, PA 15522-1750.
