Shirley J. Fleck, 73, of rural Spring Mills, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at her residence.

She was born August 17, 1943 in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Floyd J. and Ruth A. Gordon Stiver.

She was a graduate of Bellefonte High School, and worked as a baker for Riverside Markets, and retired from Panera Bread in 2005.

Shirley was a member of the Family Life Church of Penns Valley where she was active in many of the church organizations. She was an avid camper and fisherman who loved her family, friends and the Grange Fair.

She is survived by her longtime friend in Christ, Peggy A. King with whom she resided; a sister, Patricia A Lose (Larry, Sr.) of Bellefonte; two nieces, one nephew, five great nieces, two great nephews, one great great niece and one great great nephew.

Family and friends will be received from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with The Reverend Doug Mellott officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Bellefonte.
