Our beloved mother, Shirley Helen West, 89, was serenaded by angels to her heavenly home Monday, February 9, 2015, from her residence in Clearfield, Pa. She was born January 4, 1926 in Lisbon, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Lawrence Hill. She attended Houghton College in New York where she met her husband of 55 years, Rev. Paul West, and together they served in ministry. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paul West, and her three brothers, Malcolm Hill, Harland Hill, and David Hill. Shirley is survived by her four children, Judith West Peterson and husband Samuel, Stephen West and wife Judy Walters West, Deborah West Keaton and husband Rex, and Sharon West Melton. There are 11 grandchildren, including 6 who are married, and 19 great grandchildren. Shirley was a loving mother and a faithful pastor's wife for many years. Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Thursday, February 12, and from noon to 1:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at Calvary Chapel, 930 Orchard Road, Millmont, PA; the funeral will follow at 1:00 p. m. at the church.
