Obituary

Shirley S. Moyer, 81, of Centre Hall, died Friday, January 23, 2009, in Bellefonte.
She was born November 8, 1927, in Boalsburg, a daughter of the late Norman and Myrtle Klinefelter Nevel.
Shirley attended Boalsburg High School. Early in life she worked in various restaurants and factories and later worked in the cafeteria at Centre Hall Elementary School. She was later employed by Hosterman's Market in Centre Hall for many years.
Spending time with her family was one of her greatest pleasures in life.
She is survived by two daughters; Linda E. Inhoof and her husband Kenneth of Boalsburg, Kimberly A. Clancy and her husband Daniel of Warriors Mark; two sons Gerald K. Moyer and his wife Christine of Mesa, Arizona; and Terry Moyer of rural Centre Hall; one sister Sue Deeg of Bellefonte; one brother, Barry Nevel of Bellefonte; seven grandchildren Chyenne L., Jeremy L., Michael K., Christian L., Michelle D., Candace L. and Thomas L and eleven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Robert L.: two sisters, Dorothy Hull and Sandra Nevel; and two brothers, Mahlon and Gerald Nevel
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 331 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, with her nephew, the Reverend Mahlon D. Nevel officiating. At her request there will be no public visitation. Burial will at the convenience of the family.
