Susan A. Horner, age 78, of Gatesburg, passed away on February 7, 2024. Born January 17, 1946 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Clair E. and Marie (Morrison) Lippart. On November 28, 1964, she married Terry E. Horner who survives at home.

Susan was employed at the Pennsylvania State University as a finance clerk until she retired in 2006. In her retirement, Susan enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their various activities.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Tracy Horner of Gatesburg; her son Todd Horner and his wife Diane of Port Matilda; 2 granddaughters, Nicole Benincasa and Leah Horner; 1 grandson, Derek Horner; and her sister Carole Meicke. Two sisters, Pearl Bashore and Barb Hunsinger, and 2 brothers, Junior Lippart and Ron Lippart preceded her in death.

Friends will be received from 2:00PM - 4:00PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Private interment will take place at the Centre County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
