Thomas James Clough

Lykens • Thomas J. Clough of Lykens, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Premier at Susquehanna.

He was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Wiconisco, a son of the late James and Mary Clough.

Tom's passion was building bird, squirrel and bat houses and tinkering in the garage.  He loved to bake, especially pineapple upside down cakes. He enjoyed sitting on the porch and chatting with all of the neighbors.

He was an adoring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Tom is survived by his daughters Gina and husband Clement, Vickie and husband Jim, son Eric, four grandchildren: Sheldon, Tyler, Dalton and Jennifer, and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy A. Clough, and eight siblings: Mary, Georgina, Joseph, Margaret, Cecilia, Helen, Eleanor, and Catherine.

Tom was a 1947 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School. He retired from Brubaker Tool Corp. after 42 years of service, was a Korean War veteran, and was a devoted longtime member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Lykens.

Services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax, with Deacon George Garber officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 732 Main Street, Lykens, PA  17048 or  Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA  17110.
