Thomas L. Jackson, 58, of State College, PA, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1947, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Richard C. and Helen Martin Jackson.
On January 7,1967 in Paterson, NJ he married Rose Frances Toner who preceded him in death on March 28,1984.
He was a graduate of the State College Area High School and also of the Newark College of Engineering with a degree in Electrical and Fluid Power Control Devices.
He worked as a lab technician for Cannon Corp.
He attended Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a daughter Tracey Jackson of Atlanta,GA; a son Travis Jackson of Wilsonville,OR; two sisters, Delores Struble and her husband Ken of State College, Audrey Shrigley of State College; a neice Heather Shrigley of Edison, NJ; a nephew Adam Shrigley of State College; and a granddaughter Roxanne Denton of Baton Rouge,LA.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 AM Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM with the Rev. Ron Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Centre County Memorial Park.
