Thomas E. Thomas, 70, of Port Matilda, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.

He was born July 9, 1947 in Bellefonte, a son of the late Melvin and Julia Marko Thomas.  He was married to Patricia A. McClusick Thomas who survives at home.

Thomas was a member of the American Legion in Port Matilda and had served in the U. S. Army.  Thomas was a Vietnam veteran.

Among his interests were going to car shows and collecting cars.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast, and was a dog lover.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister Denise Marsey (Henry) of Madison, OH, and a nephew Chad Marsey

Friends will be received form 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P C, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA.  A memorial service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm at the funeral home followed by Military Honors also at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a dog rescue shelter.
