Tyson Brock Melanson, 22 months old, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence in Petersburg.

Born on January 1, 2012 in Huntingdon, he is a son of Andre Stephen and Hannah Rose (Ankerson) Melanson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Ethan Andre Melanson, at home; maternal grandparents, Scott Ankerson of Buckley, MI and Karen Stebbins of Manistee, MI; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Susan Melanson; maternal and paternal great-grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tyson suffered from Goldenhar syndrome, even though he had a difficult life he was a very happy baby. He loved to be held by his parents and enjoyed being outdoors very much. Tyson will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Tyson was preceded in death by his maternal uncle, Elisha Ankerson; and maternal great-grandparents, Leo and Jeanie Ankerson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013, beginning at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1250 University Drive, State College, PA with the Reverend Stacy Sublett officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College.
