Wayne A. Brungart, 60, of Centre Hall, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
He was born on September 7, 1946 in Bellefonte to the late Albert S. and Carrie Burd Brungart.
On December 27, 1980 he married Ann Mosebey who survives at home.
He was a 1964 graduate of the Bellefonte High School served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967.
After graduation from the Thompson Institute in 1970, he worked for the PA Dept of Corrections at Camp Hill and Rockview until 1976. He then worked at Supelco as a Computer Programer from 1976 until his retirement in February of 2007.
He loved flying and was a member of AOPA. Camping and antiquing were also favorite pastimes. He especially loved his family, friends and his constant companions, Maggie and Muffin.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Michael A. Brungart of Julian; a daughter, Mindi Koch of Julian; three grandchildren, Michaela Brungart, Trevor and Seth Koch; and a sister, Joyce Bloom of Carol Stream, IL.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Cummings.
A receiving of friends will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Brookside Wesleyan Church in Bush Hollow. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the donors choice.
