William "Bill" Barraclough, Jr., 85, of Port Royal, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born on July 1, 1939, in Lewistown, PA to the late William, Sr. and Dorothy (Haubrick) Barraclough. Bill was a Lewistown Area High School graduate. He married Katherine L. Geedy in 1983; they remained married until his passing.

Bill was an avid fly fisherman who excelled at fly tying and enjoyed being along the creek. He was a born-again Christian who loved his family and his cat, Jake. He was employed for 40+ years as a Railroader for Norfolk Southern Railway until his retirement in 2001.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Barraclough and Rich Barraclough. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Katherine L. Barraclough; four children, Barbara Mellott (Brian), Debra Fiore (Joseph), John Barraclough (Karen) and Mark Barraclough (Jenny); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
