Obituary

William D. Stouffer, 74, of Bellefonte died July 18, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born October 1, 1939 in Tyrone he was a son of the late Homer and Edith Alice (Hardy) Stouffer.
On December 21, 1987 he married Sarah P. Keith, who survives at home.
Bill was a 1957 graduate of Tyrone High School. He worked at Penn State University in the maintenance department until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagle Heights Bible Church.
He enjoyed traveling even if it was a day trip to Pittsburgh to watch the planes. He also enjoyed sitting on his front porch and watching the birds and eating frozen whipped cream. Bill loved his family. He was a good father and grandfather and was always there to help whether he agreed with them or not. Bill had a great sense of humor and was always a tease.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ralph Emeigh, Jr. of Howard and Jeffrey Emeigh, Sr. (Michelle) of State College; two daughters, Terri Miller (Charles) of Beach Creek and Penny Cain of Julian; one sister Patricia Waite (Donald) of Springville, NY; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Martha Stouffer and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-3 PM, Monday, July 21, 2014 at Eagle Heights Bible Church, 1426 N. Eagle Valley Road. Milesburg, PA 16853. A funeral service will follow at 3PM at the church with the Reverend Stephen Hicks officiating. Burial in Centre County Memorial Park will be private and at the convenience of the family.
