William Marvin Greenleaf, 78, of State College and long time resident of Huntingdon, died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Mt. Nittany Medical Centre In State College.
He was born October 18, 1927, in Huntingdon, a son of the late Frank Harim and Josephine Kyper Greenleaf.
Mr. Greenleaf served in the U. S. Army, earning a World War II Victory Medal.
He was employed as a physical therapist assistant and was a musician and entertainer. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Huntington.
William is survived by two brothers, Richard M. Greenleaf of Huntington, and Frank C. Greenleaf of State College; two nephews, Jeffrey Davis of Huntington and Robbie Greenleaf of Pittsburgh; a niece Betsy Messner of Reading, PA and a great niece, Melissa Davis. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert K. and John W. Greenleaf and two sisters, Virginia Greenleaf and Bette Greenleaf Davis.
A memorial service is being planned at a time to be announced.
