Obituary

William "Bill" C. Lose, 81, of Centre Hall, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at Centre Community Hospital in State College, PA
He was born Nov. 24, 1921 in Pleasant Gap, a son of the late Fred and Sarah Blake Lose.
On Aug. 13, 1940 he married Dorothy H. Glasgow who preceded him in death on June 4, 1995
Mr. Lose was self employed as a carpet installer for many years, and had also worked for William Fye, Searfoss Mills, and as a night watchman for D. E. Smith.
He served with the Seabees during World War II in the U. S. Navy.
He was a member of American Legion Post 779 at Old Fort.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by 5 daughters: Carol V. Ott of Port Matilda, Sandra L. Rossman and Donna L. McCool both of Spring Mills, Mary Ann Lose of Bellefonte and Joy L. Lose of State College; 2 sons: William P. and Kim C. Lose of State College; a half sister Bonnie Shrover, and a half brother LeRoy Good both of Johnstown; 19 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Sunday, May 11, 2003 from 1 to 2:30 p. m. at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA. The funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall, PA
