William G. Williams, 90, of State College, died Thursday, February 9,2006 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born November 19,1915 in Coopersburg,PA.
He worked for over 40 years at Bethlehem Steel Co. in Bethlehem.
In 1940 he married Evelyn C. Barette who preceded him in death in 2004.
He served in the US Army during WW II.
Previous to his move to State College, he was an avid Barbershop singer. He spent many years giving pleasure to many people with his wonderful voice.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan W. Clair and her husband Gerald F. Clair, MD. of State College; three grandchildren, Lynor Bachman and Amy Bilyeu both of State College, Lee Clair of Illinois; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mark. D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801.
