Wilma Mae Heiser, 78, of Centre Hall, died October 27, 2016, at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge, Erie, PA

She was born May 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Hassinger Sellers.

On July 6, 1957 she married Edward L. Heiser who preceded her in death, May 18 1993.

Mrs. Heiser worked as a library assistant at ARL, of the Penn State University for thirty five years.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Centre Hall. She loved gardening and was known for her beautiful flower gardens.

Surviving Mrs. Heiser is one sister Joanne King of Bellefonte, nieces and nephews including Lesley King Garcia, Elizabeth and Brandon King; Lynda and John Orndorf; and Gregg, Debbie, Jennifer, and Lorie Sellers, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by, a sister Peggy Orndorf, and two brothers James and Robert Sellers; two brothers in law, Richard King. and William Orndorf; and a sister in law, Betty Sellers.

Funeral services will be at 5:30 pm Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA with the Reverend David Downer officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College.

The family expresses their profound appreciation to the staff at St. Mary's who lovingly cared for Wilma during her final weeks, with special thanks to Dawn, a care giver who really bonded with Wilma, and to whom Wilma became strongly attached almost instantly upon their having met.
