Winifred Fetterolf Yarnell, 85, of Houserville, went to be with her Lord, on Sat., Nov. 8, 2003 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in the Centre Hall area. She was a daughter of the late Burton and Catherine Carson Fetterolf.
On March 1, 1941, in Accident, MD., she married Kryder Yarnell, who survives at home.
In her earlier years she was employed by Centre Film Lab, State College. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother and caregiver to her grandchildren. She was a humble servant of the Lord.
She was an active member of the former Lemont E. U. B. Church and continued her active membership in the Mount Nittany United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Dreibelbis of State College and Nancy Yarnell of Bellefonte; two brothers, Gerald Fetterolf of Millheim and Dick Fetterolf of State College; and three sisters, Lena Yarnell of Pleasant Gap, Faye Stine of Millheim, and Pat Bird of Dale Summit; two grandsons, Wayne Jr.(Skip)Dreibelbis and his daughter Mara of State College; Scott Dreibelbis and his wife Jennifer, and their twin sons, Matthew and Michael, of Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Anderson; and two brothers, Stanley Fetterolf and Lynn Fetterolf.
Friends will be received from 10 - 11 a. m., Tuesday, Nov. 11 2003, at Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 Branch Road, State College, PA. Funeral Services will be at 11 a. m. at the church with the Rev. James Williams and the Rev. Marian Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
