Winnie Raye Strange, 78, mother of Susan Romanini, died at Wynwood House, Centre Hall on September 25, 2006.
The daughter of the late Lonnie and Ida Mae Shoemake Dyess, Winnie was born on October 31, 1927 in Carson, MS.
She earned her R.N. degree and worked as a registered nurse. She was married to Robert Alfred Strange who survives in Mississippi.
Also surviving are Winnie's daughter and husband, Susan and Ernie Romanini of Port Matilda, as well as other family members in Mississippi.
Funeral services were held in Hattiesburg, MS under the direction of the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home with burial following at Roseland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.
